HTML Output and Metadata tags
In this project, I worked with a team of three people to take content from a tech company and create a single source proof-of-concept. The goals of this project were to create a single-source solution that would enable the company to:

Make content up to date amongst all products

Create distinctive printed versions for separate concepts

Make content online more discoverable
Apart from restructuring, I focused on using DITA principles to organize content within the Zen4 files. Each group member renamed elements using DITA element names as shown in the image with the yellow flags. We created keywords and added appropriate metadata tags for each topic to help further organize searches.
My part of this project was focusing on building the software table of contents. To do this I had to pick topics from the software Zen4 Files and link them to TOC’s book PDF/HTML 5 versions. This process accounted for the final product’s visual aspect, allowing us to see the result.
The results of this project provided my group and me the ability to restructure and organize Zen4 files into a single source.
